Dax Denton was named executive director of the Indiana Mortgage Bankers Association in 2023. He also serves as chief policy officer for the Indiana Bankers Association. Previously, Denton managed state relations for the Indiana Statewide Association of Rural Electric Cooperatives, prior to which he was deputy legislative director of the Association of Indiana Counties. 

Denton currently serves on the Boy Scouts Crossroads of America Council Board. He has previously served on the Governmental Affairs Society of Indiana on the board of governors and was chairman of the membership committee. Additionally, he has been active with the Indiana Society of Association Executives, the Indiana Geographic Information Council, Transportation Enhancement Appropriations Committee, Indiana Historic Preservation’s Courthouse Preservation Task Force and the Lead Elimination Plan Advisory Committee of the Indiana Department of Health.

Denton was named 2012 Association Professional of the Year by the Indiana Society of Association Executives, and in 2013 he won in the category of Banking & Financial Services for the Best & Brightest awards, sponsored by Junior Achievement of Central Indiana Inc. He is a graduate of Indiana University, the IBA Leadership Development Program and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Denton has attained the rank of Eagle Scout.

Christina M. Bennett

Christina M. Bennett has served the Indiana Mortgage Bankers Association since 2023. She is also vice president of meetings and events for the Indiana Bankers Association.

Bennett is president-elect of Meeting Professionals International's Indiana chapter, Holiday Giving Chair at St. Vincent de Paul and a member of the American Society of Association Executives. She earned her bachelor's degree from Indiana University, the Certified Meeting Professional designation from the Events Industry Council and a certificate in association digital marketing from Association Academy.

Tom Dinwiddie is a partner at the law firm of Dinsmore & Shohl, LLP. His practice focuses on the areas of real estate, real estate finance, real estate development and mortgage banking. Dinwiddie has represented the Indiana Mortgage Bankers Association for more than 30 years and was the first recipient of their Distinguished Service Award. He is a graduate of DePauw University and received his juris doctor degree from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
