With rates expected to stay above 5% this year, there will be much more of a focus on the purchase side of the business. As such, the Greater Indianapolis MBA Board has put together a panel of top performing Loan Officers from our market to discuss how they have succeeded, are working towards maintaining their business at a high level, and, to answer questions from the attendees!

Meet Our Panel!

Diana Rice-Wilkerson is a compassionate and trusted lender with a passion to help homebuyers and homeowners purchase, build or refinance while creating wealth and legacy. She has dedicated her career to helping people achieve the American Dream – home ownership, and began her career working for Indiana National Bank where she was a loan officer and underwriter. Eventually, she was promoted to Vice President of Mortgage Operations.

From there, Diana took her valuable skill sets to work for the Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership (INHP) as Director of Mortgage Programs, she expanded the homebuyer counseling services and established a rehabilitation administration program for properties in need of repairs.

Diana returned to originations in 2002, and in 2015 she joined Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation. In the last two years, Diana has originated 255 loans totaling almost $50,000,000!

Chris Kerr has been in the mortgage industry for 17 years, starting out as a Mortgage Loan Officer with Allied Home Mortgage. After joining Elements Financial in 2015, he was promoted to Mortgage Sales Manager, and leads a team of Mortgage Loan Originators as well as producing personally. In the last two years, Chris has originated 251 loans totaling $67,000,000!

David Cross serves as an Assistant Vice President and Mortgage Loan Originator at First Merchants Bank. With over 20 years of mortgage lending experience, David is well versed in all facets of the industry. He has been consistently named a top originator in the Indianapolis region and is a 10-time Gold Shield Award recipient as the top mortgage producer at First Merchants Bank. Over the last three years, David has originated 426 mortgage loans totaling nearly $243,903,603, averaging over $81,000,000 in loan volume per year!
